Are you feeling duality in the air? Many leaders are holding joy and fatigue simultaneously. There are moments of celebration and moments of heaviness. Reflection mingles with pressure. It's a season where the nervous system is whispering. Can we soften just a little? This episode is an invitation into that softening.
Not a full recalibration. Not a visioning session. Just one micro move. One small shift that brings your mind, your heart, and your body back into coherence. This is the same practice I guide my clients through when they're juggling too much or hovering on the edge of burnout. It's simple, portable, and it works. So here it is, the micro move.
Kc Rossi, PCC 00:01:28 And if you're driving or walking or multitasking, you can keep doing what you're doing and just let your awareness follow along. However, I invite you to pause when you can. And with safety and mindfulness, give yourself this gift, and a gift that you can repeat. I absolutely invite you to do that.
We start with a gesture that signals safety to your nervous system. Place your hand gently on your heart, not with force. More like you're greeting yourself and letting your breath drop into a slower, smoother rhythm. And just notice what you notice right here. Without any impetus to fix or change. But just coming home to yourself. And inhale for a count of five. And exhale for a count of five.
Almost immediately, your heart begins to send new information to your brain, shifting you out of reactivity and into a more expansive, grounded state. This is the doorway into calm coherence. Once your breath finds that rhythm, ask yourself this single question. What's one thing I can release before the year ends? And then just listen.
Kc Rossi, PCC 00:03:27 Just listen for what bubbles up. Remember, it's just one thing. Not everything. Not the whole to-do list. Just one thing. It might be a lingering resentment. It might be a self-expectation that no longer fits. It might be a project that no longer lights you up, or a story you've held on to about what you should accomplish by X date. Let whatever rises be enough.
Again, you don't have to fix it or solve it. Just name it.
Naming it creates separation. Releasing it creates coherence.
Take one more slow breath in. And one long breath out. That's it. That tiny one-minute reset is enough to interrupt the stress cascade and bring your system back into alignment. When practiced regularly, even once a day through the end of the year, it will become a stabilizing force.
A way to close 2025 with clarity instead of clutter, and to enter 2026 from a place of calm readiness rather than depletion. If you want to carry this forward, use the micro move.
Kc Rossi, PCC 00:05:05 Anytime you feel your energy splintering between meetings before a hard conversation, or in those quiet moments when the mind starts to spiral toward the future. This reset is small, but its impact is cumulative. I come from a family of financial investors, so I always think of compound interest here. And that's exactly what this resourceful habit has the power to do for you. It's the kind of practice that builds the foundation for deeper leadership work.
And if you want to practice more opportunities, opportunities to be still, to build the muscle memory when it comes to cultivating and amplifying your Peace. I invite you to join The Peace Bubble. It's a gift that is open to all. Something that you can rely on. Every Monday at 8:30 a.m. Eastern time, we gather for half an hour, drop in, get centered, and share our intentions for the week. It's a powerful container of like minds showing up to put a deposit of peace in their own account, while creating a positive ripple effect in the process. I'll add the registration link in the show notes, and I would truly love to see you there!
As we close out another year and another season of the podcast.
Kc Rossi, PCC 00:06:35 Thank you. Thank you for showing up for yourself, for tuning in, for your emails, notes of appreciation, of what tidbits resonated, and for your ratings and reviews.
Hosting this show is one of my greatest joys of the week. I feel connected to you and the messages of conscious leadership.
I have some exciting episodes lined up for the next year, so stay tuned. But for now, this will be the final episode of 2025, giving us both some space to reflect, rest, and close our personal and professional loops so that we can enter the New Year with vitality and reinvigoration.
Until then, my friend, breathe. Joy.
